The YRCW team has relied on Holland Freight since 2005 to provide regional delivery across the Medwest United States & Canada. The company is the largest regional less-than-truckload (LTL) freight hauler operated by YRC Regional Transportation, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide. They provide logistics solutions to the following states / provinces: North Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio; South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Quebec and Ontario, Canada.
The company was founded in 1929 in Holland, Michigan. They specialize in next day delivery solutions across the MidWest. They were recently recognized by Logistics Management Magazine with its 2012 Quest for Quality award for performance excellence in 2012.
YRCW Mergers & Acquisitions
The company continues to expand their offerings, and have recently began offering additional points in the Northeastern United States through a partnership with New Penn Trucking. Expansion has also continued to the Western US through a partnership with Reddaway. They have been strategically merged and partnered with other regional carriers by YRCW to operate a more efficient freight line. In an effort to boost profits and reduce costs, YRC Regional Transportation has been scaling back the operations of USF Holland.
In early 2009, it eliminated 350 positions by closing 11 USF Holland terminals located across Kansas, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Customers of those areas will continue to be served through another USF Holland sister company, New Penn Motor Express.

This is a job that can be considered a career. They had good pay and benefits and alway seemed professional, top notch. They offer consistent working conditions that were favorable most of the time and did their best in keeping down long hours and always put safety as their first priority.
Joseph S., Company Driver
I really liked working for USF Holland Freight, they treated you like you where part of the family and were always willing to help get you home sooner and more frequently than other regional carriers.
I started out on the dock and it gave me an advantage of how the facility operated when I was promoted to Weight and Research Supervisor. I learned many skills from my time there and used those to open up my own trucking company. The USF management was very easy to work with, and was open to suggestions from employees.
